About Our School
A warm, welcoming Church of England primary school in the heart of the Peak District village of Baslow, Derbyshire.
Our Ethos
Baslow St Anne's is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England primary school. Our Christian values lie at the heart of everything we do — not just in RE lessons, but in the way we treat one another, the way we celebrate achievement, and the way we approach difficulty.
Our strapline — "Life in all its fullness… growing healthy minds and hearts together" — captures our ambition for every child: to thrive academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
We work in close partnership with St Anne's Church, Baslow, and warmly welcome families of all faiths and none.
Our Values
Respect
We treat every person with dignity. This means respect for ourselves, for each other, and for the world around us.
Kindness
We actively look for opportunities to be kind — in the classroom, on the playground, and in the wider community.
Diversity
We celebrate what makes each person unique and help children appreciate the richness of different cultures, faiths, and perspectives.
