Our term dates follow Derbyshire County Council's recommended term dates, with occasional variations for INSET days. Please check the dates below carefully as they may differ slightly from other local schools.

School uniform

We believe a school uniform helps children feel part of a community and removes the distraction of fashion. Our uniform is kept simple and affordable.

Standard uniform

School meals

Universal Free School Meals (UFSM)

All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to a free school lunch. You do not need to apply — this is automatic.

Free School Meals (FSM)

Children in Years 3–6 may be eligible for Free School Meals if their household receives certain benefits. If you think your child may be eligible, please apply via Derbyshire County Council ↗ or contact the school office for help.

Packed lunches

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch. We ask that packed lunches are healthy and do not contain [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. sweets, chocolate bars, fizzy drinks]. We are a [PLACEHOLDER: nut-aware / nut-free] school.
