INSET days are staff training days when the school is closed to pupils. Term dates are provisional and subject to change — please check back regularly or sign up for our newsletter.
Newsletters
Our newsletters keep you up to date with school news, upcoming events, and important information. Newsletters are usually sent home [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. fortnightly on Fridays] and are also published here.

School uniform
We believe a school uniform helps children feel part of a community and removes the distraction of fashion. Our uniform is kept simple and affordable.
Standard uniform

School meals

Universal Free School Meals (UFSM)
All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to a free school lunch. You do not need to apply — this is automatic.
Free School Meals (FSM)
Children in Years 3–6 may be eligible for Free School Meals if their household receives certain benefits. If you think your child may be eligible, please apply via Derbyshire County Council ↗ or contact the school office for help.
Packed lunches
Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch. We ask that packed lunches are healthy and do not contain [PLACEHOLDER: e.g. sweets, chocolate bars, fizzy drinks]. We are a [PLACEHOLDER: nut-aware / nut-free] school.
